CommonSense

Hello.... Hi there... I'm Cynthia Gee, and I'm creating this as a mirror of my other CommonSense blog at HomeschoolBlogger. I am copying the first several articles from over there, and moving them here in their entirety, complete with reader's comments. So if you see your comment HERE, and remember posting it over THERE, relax. You're sane.

Dear "Nom"....

ON Kinism.net, someone (who is loathe to reveal his real name) wrote:

"While we find ourselves bemused that our comments on the hothouse strangeness, outright idiocies, and virulent gossip of the anti-patriarchism crowd, and Cynthia Gee in particular, have engendered such an impassioned response, we are not so foolish as to believe she has anything in mind other than the febrile attempt to expose us to public scrutiny and try us in the court of fashionable (heretical) opinion, in the hope that such personal exposure might provide impetus to a smear campaign similar to that being conducted against a former Kinist, once associated with this website. This is why we write under a nom de plume (or nom de guerre, if you will). The champions of “free speech and open discourse” seem to enjoy placing anonymous calls to employers and pastors when they can’t shout down your ideas with insults. Since we have mouths to feed, we’ll, pass on the ritual seppuku.

However, if Cynthia Gee is serious about attempting to dispute the claims of Kinism, whatever her limited understanding of them may be, we are willing to provide a venue (forum) for her to present her arguments to the public on this website, providing her with an opportunity to interact directly with her opponent (which she has scrupulously avoided, limiting her screeds to her own website, rather than contacting us directly, as scripture stipulates) and to confront in whatever manner she is able the supposed errors of Kinism. Fair enough?

While we don’t hold out hope that she will prove more formidable than any of Kinism’s previous opponents, who now speak into their beards, as it were, we think it only sporting that she be given the opportunity to air her grievances and to prove the biblical support for her gossip campaign against decent men. Cynthia is free to email me at
kinadmin@kinism.net if she wishes to accept these terms. "

Dear "Nom d. Plume", I first tried to post my "open letter" on YOUR website, but it would not allow me to comment. So much for scrupulous avoidance...

And, if you wish to debate, I am ready and willing, (especially since I issued the challenge in the first place) provided we do so on neutral territory, and provided that the debate is a public discussion and open to ALL. I suggest we have a neutral third party host the debate, perhaps doing it on a YahooGroup in mid January.

I'll be looking forward to it....

.... unless, of course, "de plume" in your "nom" is a WHITE one.

An Open Letter to Kinism.net

Seems the Kinists have a brand new blog, and that they don't much like all the publicity that their movement has been recieving lately.

I was looking at my sitemeter today, and I was led to this site, where the author complained that I and other bloggers "set(s) an a priori equalitarianism doctrine above scripture", and are "simply looking for whiskey from a bottle of wine. A kinder and gentler patriarchism, a traditionalism that will pass the sniff test of worldliness, and ultimately, feminism."

The writer ruefully concludes that "Kinism is nothing but orthodox Occidental Christianity, as it was and as it might again be." and that "Kinists are rather accustomed to attacks from the shadows. Rather than confront Kinists directly, its opponents, such as Cythia Gee, seek to use fashionable opinion to ruin lives and reputations. People have stopped arguing directly with Kinists on the merits, because they grew tired of losing the arguments in publicly humiliating ways. Their new strategy is to employ the tools of the terrorist. In all of this one thing is clear to me: the New Jerusalem is not Suffragette City."

Really????!!!!!!!
The funny thing is, that when I tried to "argue directly" with this fellow in his own comments section, I found that his blog does not allow comments!
So, I'm posting my reply here:

"Well, hello there. I found your site while looking at the referrals on my site meter. Gotta love those referrals -- if it weren't for them, sites like yours might get a lot less traffic.

Not that you don't enjoy sniping from the shadows, mind, but if you'd come out into the open and discuss your views on larger, more public blogs, such as
True Womanhood in the New Millennium , you might build a bigger audience for your own little blog.... unless of course you and your views are not up for a bit of discussion and debate (and if you're not, perhaps you can send Kinswoman over in your place.....) :) "

On Kinism

On True Womanhood in the New Millennium, Lynn said,
“Kinism is nothing if not racist."

Kinism is far more than racism, kinism is a blatant and insidious heresy, as it is essentially a deliberate division of the Body of Christ:

Col 3:10 And have put on the new [man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Col 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond [nor] free: but Christ [is] all, and in all.

Kinism in its purest form is the worship of one’s own progenitors, the placing of one’s earthly father ahead of our Heavenly Father and the holding of one’s own bloodline and progeny in preferential place to of the Body of Christ.

We are all kin in Christ:
Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
…...because we now have only ONE father. The age of the Patriarchs is passed away, for God Himself is our ONE Patriarch, and there is no other before Him:

Mat 23:9 And call no [man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

Thus we are all His children, and must be brothers and sisters indeed if we wish to dwell in Him.

Kinism is also a denial of the Holy Ghost, who came on Pentecost to undo the curse of Babel and unite men of all nations and tongues in one Church.

Further, since we have died to the world and the flesh and are alive in the Spirit, the family of God must come first, before mere blood relations.

It follows that Kinism is an abomination: it denies the Father, the Holy Ghost, and also the Son, for Jesus’s prayer for His followers is that they be one, without division:

Jhn 17:20 ¶ Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; Jhn 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

And, here is Jesus’s answer to Kinism:

Mar 3:31 ¶ There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. Mar 3:32 And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee. Mar 3:33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? Mar 3:34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! Mar 3:35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

AND…
Luk 14:26 If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

Hey, Boys and Girls... Can you spell J-I-H-A-D ???

An interesting discussion has been shaping up over on ThatMom's blog lately, about whether the HyperPatriarchal movement and their patriocentric views of women’s roles could be putting our homeschooling freedoms at risk. It seems that girls are getting shortchanged in some HyperP homes, and their education is being curtailed due to the fact that many in the movement maintain that higher education for girls is a waste, if not an outright sin.

Today the conversation took on a new, more sinister bent, as Chris Barnes wrote ,
"Any section of our government which is in violation with God Himself is invalid from the beginning. And chief among the rights given to us by God is that parents - and parents ALONE - are responsible for their children.
Last point - so that everyone understands the volatility of this issue: this is a “go to war” issue. If anyone, private or government, tries to impose their will on my kids, they have declared war on me and my family. And I’m not talking about a “war of words” or a nice “let’s go to court” war - I’m talking about using guns, shooting, killing, people dying type of war."

Wow... I mean, WOW.

Can you spell "Waco", boys and girls?

Very good, I knew you could.

Now, who can go to the map and find "Ruby Ridge?"

Excellent.

And, there's 10 points of extra credit for anyone who can explain the significance of Elohim City .
