Hello.... Hi there... I'm Cynthia Gee, and I'm creating this as a mirror of my other CommonSense blog at HomeschoolBlogger. I am copying the first several articles from over there, and moving them here in their entirety, complete with reader's comments. So if you see your comment HERE, and remember posting it over THERE, relax. You're sane.

Stumpin' Stacey

Stacey McDonald is stumping for Matt Chancey.

She writes,
"Matt (Chancey) is a rarity in our day…a true American statesman who isn’t afraid to stand up for what is right, regardless of the opposition. He is a wise man who knows the issues involved in this race and knows what is needed for Alabama. We have observed Matt to be a kind and principled family man who walks in his integrity before the Lord."

Read it here....

Then look at this!

A "kind and principled family man"????

Yeah, right... men with Chancey's kind of principles USUALLY rise in politics -- you could say that they have the "right stuff" -- but when people who are full of such "right stuff" also attempt to pass themselves off as good, honest Christians, it gives the entire Church a big black eye, and it's up to the Church to warn folks about them:

1Cr 5:9 ¶ I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
1Cr 5:10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 1Cr 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
1Cr 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 1Cr 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

I'm sure that Chancey's opponents will love to make political hay with Mrs.Binoculars, his Constitution Party friends' League of the South connections in the 90s as well as their citizen militia connections in the 80s, etc., etc, etc.

Allow a fellow with Chancey's "stuff" to rise unchallenged?

I don't think so... :)
